HKL started in 1972, when it was founded under the name HKL Anlagenbau &planung GmbH & Co. KG. Since then, it has been our goal to plan and build systems with the greatest possible safety.

Since 2013, all activities have been continued under the name of HKL Anlagentechnik GmbH under the direction of Managing Directors Bernd, Daniel and Timo von der Heide. Since then we have been a sister company of Mehldau & Steinfath Umwelttechnik GmbH, Essen and 100% family-owned.
