The SNCR Process
Patented, smart solutions for flue gas denitrification for Compliance with statutory emission limit values - economical, competent, safe.
The so-called selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) is a process for reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx).
The so-called selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) is a process for reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Every type of combustion system emits pollutants such as B. nitrogen oxides free. These enter the environment as pollution via the atmosphere. The process of selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) reduces these nitrogen oxides to a considerable extent and thus ensures compliance with emission limit values and, last but not least, clean air.
Thanks to their flexibility and modular design, the SNCR systems developed by Mehldau & Steinfath Umwelttechnik can easily be retrofitted in existing incineration plants and in many cases exceed the requirements set by law.
The investment costs of our delivered systems are determined by the requirements of the operator. They only amount to approx. 10 to 20 percent of the costs for catalytic processes and are usually far superior in economic terms.
So far we have successfully put our SNCR systems into operation for the following combustion systems:
Waste incineration plants Incineration plants for wood, biomass and alternative fuels
Oil and coal fired boiler systems
Fluidized bed combustion for a wide variety of fuels
Glass tubs Rotary kilns for cement and lime
Soil remediation systems
Liquid waste, e.g. solvents
